This project is designed to create awareness among African immigrant communities in the eternal city of Rome on the reality of Covid-19 and the need to get vaccinated.
It is no news that a lot of African immigrants still live in doubt on the reality of Covid-19 and conspiracy against the Covid 19 vaccine. Many African immigrants do not believe there is anything as Covid-19 while some others believe the reality of Covid-19 are beclouded by conspiracy theory which addressed Covid-19 as biological weapon masterminded by interest parties most of whom are world class physicians and political stakeholders who have interest in reducing human population. These affected the reaction of people negatively towards the reality of Covid-19 and their acceptance of the vaccine which they termed another evil agenda perpetrated by same humans who created the Covid-19 virus. The reason for these unbelief is not far-fetched. The media remains a major source of circulating conspiracy against the reality of Covid-19 and the Vaccine that follows it. Hence, there is need to deconstruct such disbelief among African immigrants in Rome by creating awareness on the reality of Covid-19 and the need to be vaccinated against the virus.
It is on this backdrop that Break Your Bread for the Less privilege has come-up with the programme of creating awareness on the reality of Covid-19 and the need to get vaccinated against the virus. As the organization aims to reach as many people as possible, it will begin its awareness among immigrant population in the Eternal city of Rome.
