In a world filled with busy daily activities and culture of waste, it is easy to forget disadvantaged children in the society. Who are these disadvantaged children among us? They are children whom government’s economic policies and lack of parental care have been denied quality health care and educational assistance. Majority of them are filled with optimism towards their academic dreams but they cannot achieve them due to limited resources. Can we continue to stand by when food and money are wasted on frivolities while brilliant and educationally gifted children are starving of quality health care and education across the world? It is on this note that Break your Bread for the Less Privilege (a Non-Governmental Organization located in the city of Rome) was set up to advocate for rights of health care and education for the disadvantaged children in our society.The Organization aims to realize these dreams of providing quality education and health care for underprivileged children by gathering resources across the world. This is because, according to the calculation of the organization, illiteracy constitutes the major source of hooliganism and youth militancy in the society today while non-access to good health care have impeded the dream of most gifted underprivileged children. Hence, acts of hooliganism and youth militancy can be curbed or eradicated in the society when these underprivileged children are caught young and sent to school. The organization believed that quality education and health care assistance remain source of empowerment for young people in the society.Our vision is to give hope, create happiness and comfort to the less privileged in our society, especially the youths who constitute majority of the world’s population. We are determined to help young people to achieve their potential to have a fulfilling and happy living. We believe that the future of the society lies on the viability of the vision of its youths.Since our organization is a youth-based organization, it is our goal to help alleviate child labor and support young with quality education and health care assistance by offering them scholarships.The organization started with deep sense of compassion from those who understand that one is the humanity of all mankind. Thus, the best way of defining humanity is to believe and invest in Humanity following the four humanitarian principles outlined by the International Humanitarian Law of the Geneva Conventions of the United Nations which includes, humanity, universality, impartiality and neutrality. This means that the organization believes that it is in giving to humanity that humanity is best defined and no act of compassion is a waste.This organization is a Non Governmental Organization formed by great and compassionate minds in 2017. It was inaugurated in the same year and was registered in accordance with the law in Rome, Italy.
